Study and surf in perfect harmony
Wake up to the soft buzz of a new day and start with easy, engaging English sessions that get you talking without overthinking. Then trade notebooks for surfboards and head to the water, where the waves set the pace and the coaches keep it fun. Evenings are yours — live local music, exploring local souks, or just watching the iconic Moroccan sunset. It’s a retreat that blends learning, riding, and the laid-back rhythm of Morocco.
Schedule
-
After your arrival in Agadir and transfer with your luggage, you'll get settled in at the Blue Pearl Hostel and meet the team and your fellow camp-mates. You will then have the opportunity explore your home for the next week, Tamraght. A beautiful seaside village just up the coast from Agadir. Later, enjoy a home-cooked Moroccan dinner on the terrace. The evening concludes with games, providing a chance to get to know your new camp-mates a little better, with all conversation taking place in English.
-
Your day begins with breakfast on the terrace, where you can enjoy local Moroccan breads, pastries, tea, and coffee with a view. The morning will be occupied by your first 2-hour English class. The afternoon is then free for your choice of activity, whether that's surfing, yoga, a round of golf, or simply relaxing on the beach to catch some sun. Just before our lovely home-cooked dinner, there will be a guided conversation in which you can practise the skills you learnt earlier that day. Dinner is served at 7:30 p.m, followed by more games, live music or an evening in Tagazout.
-
Day three will follow a schedule similar to the previous day, beginning with breakfast served on the terrace. This will be followed by a two-hour English group class where the details of your group project will be officially announced. The afternoon is reserved for free time, culminating in a session of guided conversation held just before dinner at 7:30 PM.
-
Day four! Coming towards the half-way point! The morning and evening will follow the same slow-paced structure as before, of breakfast, English classes, and guided conversation. However, the afternoon offers an optional trip to explore the city of Agadir, including visits to the Souk El Had, the reconstructed Medina, and a walk along the coast to the Marina.
-
Day 5 of the retreat is a little more of the same, focusing on language practice during morning. Yet, depending on the season, the afternoon activity may offer excursions to discover the stunning natural oasis of Paradise Valley, the historic walled town of Taroudant, or the legendary surf village of Imsouane.
-
As we approach the me close of our beautiful English retreat, we look forward to celebrating the bonds we've forged and the invaluable skills we've acquired. Beyond our standard schedule, the evening will feature a special Family Dinner at a local restaurant, followed by a vibrant night of dancing, captivating live music, and engaging games.
-
As the camp draws to a close, we will share our penultimate breakfast on-site, using the time to reminisce and share cherished memories we have created together. The morning will be dedicated to completing our final group projects and presenting them to our fellow camp mates, before enjoying a relaxed afternoon to unwind and recharge on the beach.
-
It's time for our final goodbyes. Albeit a bittersweet moment, the lasting memories you have made and the new skills you have honed will stay with you forever. Whether your departure is from the bus station or the airport, rest assured that we have all your travel arrangements covered. (Or perhaps you'll decide to extend your stay for a couple more days!)
